According to the Department of Transport's own figures, Chester has an exceptionally high driving test pass rate. The town also has significantly shorter waiting lists for driving tests than many other centres around the UK. The high success rate for driving test candidates in Chester may be partly because of the low traffic volume in the town and the relatively straightforward road layout.
To take advantage of the opportunities here, many students come to Buckle Up Driving School for a course of intensive lessons ending in their practical driving test. If you are travelling from Chester, accommodation can be arranged for the duration of your course at a comfortable, affordable local bed & breakfast. If you are local, you can simply book your lessons at a time to suit you. Matthew aims to offer pupils driving instruction geared to their learning characteristics
My pass rate is far higher than the national average and is higher even than the Llandrindod Wells average which is 70%.
Nobody will guarantee a pass but take lessons with me and you have the best chance possible of success.
As an instructor I have the drive and the belief that building self confidence is the key to helping you learn the skills of driving and controlling your car, and as a youthful 30 something I find that I am very relateable to young drivers helping them to relax, learn and develop skills.
My teaching method is a modern coaching style, helping the student to learn not only what to do, but why to do it. I have a very clear voice and am excellent at explaining techniques and road skills, and my patience is second to none.
