According to the Department of Transport's own figures, Luton has an exceptionally high driving test pass rate. The town also has significantly shorter waiting lists for driving tests than many other centres around the UK. The high success rate for driving test candidates in Luton may be partly because of the low traffic volume in the town and the relatively straightforward road layout.
To take advantage of the opportunities here, many students come to Buckle Up Driving School for a course of intensive lessons ending in their practical driving test. If you are travelling from Luton, accommodation can be arranged for the duration of your course at a comfortable, affordable local bed & breakfast. If you are local, you can simply book your lessons at a time to suit you. To get in touch, you can call or click in the header of any page to email .Photo from Featured Project near Luton
Buckle Up driving school is run by me Matthew Buckler. I have a number of colleagues who also work with me as Buckle Up affiliated instructors. We are not a large national driving school like the AA or BSM, but an independent driving school. This means that every student is important to us and we will do our utmost to teach you to be the best driver you can be. We want you to be as confident in your skills as possible so that you can pass your test and be a safe driver for life.
Our commitment as driving instructors is that you should be able to learn at your own pace and pass in a time that suits YOU.

As an instructor I have the drive and the belief that building self confidence is the key to helping you learn the skills of driving and controlling your car, and as a youthful 30 something I find that I am very relateable to young drivers helping them to relax, learn and develop skills. My teaching method is a modern coaching style, helping the student to learn not only what to do, but why to do it. I have a very clear voice and am excellent at explaining techniques and road skills, and my patience is second to none.
I take lessons at a time that suits you between 8.00am and 8.30pm. You can have as many as me and you can fit in too. If you want to progress quickly, we can do that easily!
When signing up to Buckle Up Driving School you get FREE use of theory test products, a driving theory test website to help you prepare for your theory test, which you must pass before you can book your practical test. You may start learning to drive before you take your theory test.
